| NAME ;; CasperNICKNAMES ;; Cass, Casp HOURGLASS ;; 3 yearsGENDER ;; MaleCANINE ;; Timber WolfPERSONALITY ;; It's difficult living in a world of darkness. Casper, however, instead of assuming that something is 'good' or bad' titles everything as gorgeous. Everything is his friend, no matter if they love or hate him. Casper already knows that he'll never be able to live life as a normal canine; it's inevitable. He doesn't even know what he looks like; what any wolf looks like. Sometimes its hard for him to feel anything at all. Because when he is injured, he doesn't know what did the damage and how bad it is. And when others are injured, he can't tell how bad it is. Everything is black, sometimes a bit brighter from the sun, but never any other colour. So Casper just sits around, feeling useless, and assuring everyone that they are all right.
He knows that he'll never know what anything actually is or truly know what he's doing. All he recognizes are smells and sounds. His unruly gait is something he is ashamed of, and yet it is practically what defines his life. However, that's a perk towards his personality. He's best at making others feel great about themselves, not as much putting himself up to the spotlight. He'd rather campaign than gain fame. COAT COLOR ;; His coat contains different hues of copper and white.EYE COLOR ;; White is the colour of canine blindness. Most of the time Casper closes his eyes, as it makes no difference to him whether they are opened or closed. But when his eyes are opened, they reveal a beautiful crystalline white that he'll never be able to see.WEIGHT ;; Ninety poundsHEIGHT ;; Four feetBUILD ;; Casper has a very small, fragile-looking body. He cannot really fight because he can't see what he's fighting and he is not the best at hunting. Often he'll tread on sticks that lay in his bath, creating noise that makes the prey run away. He doesn't eat often, proving a substantial decrease in his body mass.- Spoiler:
He knew something was wrong. For the first few days of life, Casper's mother had told him amazing stories of the world and how it exploded with colour. How in a few days he'd be able to see it all, experience it all. Watch the brightly hued sunset set in the distance and gaze upon it with careful eyes. Casper was always the most careful of the litter, being quiet and kind to everything introduced to him. But it was not a wolf's nature to be kind and careful. That's why Casper was always the odd ball, shrugged away by all of his kin expect for his mother. But that didn't matter; his mother didn't count.
It was the day, now, for all of the pups to open their eyes. His sister and his brother were bursting with excitement upon this but Casper was quiet. All he saw was more empty blackness. So he was quiet, listening to his mother tell them how to identify each colour. He didn't dare ask why his eyes weren't working; he just assumed that there as something more to the darkness that he wasn't grasping. Meanwhile, Casper's mother led the three of them along through what she described to be "The big green forest". She said it was full of "brown trunks" and "yellow leaves". But Casper saw nothing. He only heard voices in the back of his head and smelled the faint, fresh scent of dew. None of the others pups did, though. They sniffed objects on this ground that Casper couldn't identify and chased creatures on the forest floor that Casper only recognized through jumbled rustles in the dark impasse that was supposed to be "the ground". It was what he was standing on, even though he could see no feet.
He went on, pretending to see everything she described and quietly pretending to carefully observe each invisible object. But then came a day that Casper's mother would test her pups. She asked each of them what colour each object was. His sister answer correctly with an excited 'it's brown!' and his brother with a happy 'red, duh'. And then it was Casper's turn he heard his mother approach him carefully ask 'What colour is the sky?'
Casper looked around gently. He remembered that the sky was what was above his head so he looked up. Something hot shone on his eyes but he saw nothing but emptiness."It's green, isn't it?" Casper asked. He didn't understand what his mother did next; she asked him to look at her. So Casper did. He turned her head in the direction he heard her voice from and opened his eyes. Then she went silent.
She said something about white eyes.

| @ April: Thanks for accepting me! @ Brochan: Perhaps not 'poor' but, eh, blindness is definitely a problem! Maybe they'll turn out to be biffles. @ Mute: Communication problems indeed! But what fun is rp without a little bit of failure? | |
