| A few simple rules that must be followed. Posts that do not follow these rules will be deleted with a PM sent with the reasons why. Repetitive disregard for these can result in warning and even bans hence why it's vital that these are read and maintained.
- RP posts should be a minimum of 200 words as we are a literate pack. Feel free to use the word counter widget to quickly and accurately count words as well as the guide found here.[link]
- Use the 3rd person. This means write about your wolf from an out of body perspective, do not write as if you are your wolf
- Write in the past tense. Write as if the event has already happened, at a set date or time in the past.
- Correct English. This means we expect good grammar, spelling, and punctuation from our users. Spelling can be checked with the forum spell checker.
- Realistic Characters - All characters must start of fully realistic, as additions such as accessories or unnatural fur colours/marking must be earned and purchased from the pack shop. Wings/magic powers/mood eyes etc. are not tolerated and also can not be purchased. You are expected to have a realistic reference and avatar to portray your character also, allowing for others to see what your wolf is like instead of interpreting a description. Only photographs are accepted, with a little manipulation allowed within reason.
- Realistic RP'ing - This means the actions of your character must be realistic. This includes the sounds, skills and abilities. Quiet simply put you can't go around breaking the laws of physics, with inferred night vision and running at 100mph - Neither can wolves use their paws to pick up objects. The only time we accept unrealistic action are to demonstrate emotions, e.g a real wolf can not cry but in RP we'd see this okay as it adds depth to your wolfs emotions.
- God-Moding is not tolerated here, meaning that no wolf is immortal or immune to injuries and no wolf can make a perfect kill every time.
- Power Play is also not tolerated. Power play means you take over the thoughts/emotions/actions of another's wolf. Do not RP as someone else's wolf with their permission.
- Harming others. It should be understood that all wolves aren't going to be best friends, as just like with humans personalities can clash. On this site killing other members is not acceptable, however you can inflict injury on them to some extent. Do not injury another's wolf without there consent and even then understand that it will have a negative impact for your wolf in RP
- Keep it clean. All of the content on the site should be no more than a 12PG rating e.g we only allow mild cuss words (hell, damn ect). We also ask that you limit gore, a little for descriptive purposes is fine, but some of us would prefer not to spend all day reading detailed descriptions of blood or internal organs. The same goes for the mating or birthing process, which we ask that you leave out. A simple *Fades out* or *excluded* will do instead
- Wolves only! - As a site we allow hybrids and cross breed wolves, however you must understand that we are a wolf RP. Characters that are deemed to be "more dog than wolf! will not be accepted.
- 2nd Characters - If you wish to make a second character to RP with you must purchase it from the shop, there is no minimum to how many wolves you may have as long as you can stay active with all of them.
If you wish to kill off your character or make it leave the pack to replace it with a new one you may do so, but please consult the Chief first as for the sake of realism wolf are expected to stay within the pack for at the very least a few months before they depart
- Mates and Pups - Mates and pups are both allowed but before your characters makes that step you should ask permission from the chief. For pups ask permission by filling in a form in the Nursery where the amount of pups in the litter, genders and what they will look like will be decided. Pups count as second accounts, so thus must be purchased (See above)
